Our Story

My personal heroes in my life were my inspiration in creating the Thank You Heroes Program.

My nephew and his girlfriend are both police officers. My daughter Katherine works in nursing and my daughter Madison is currently continuing her education in health care.

I could not be more proud of their chosen career paths.

Thank You Heroes started as a passion project in 2019 for friends and family. When the pandemic started and the world started to change, I knew that the time was right to launch a Canada-wide program.

Today we have just shy of 5,000 heroes in our Private Facebook Group and we continue to bring more wonderful first responders into our program every month.

We believe you deserve a beautiful, warm and welcoming space to come home to. 

First responders and health care workers sacrifice long hours and holidays away from their families to serve and protect our communities.

Through my 30 years of experience in the furniture industry, I have brought together my top vendors to get you access to stylish home decor at deep discounts. Our mission is to help you make your home a sanctuary!

Thank You Heroes is thrilled to be able to achieve our goal of a yearly donation of $5000 to the Burn Fund in Vancouver.

It was a privilege to spend time yesterday at the Burn Fund which is a home away from home for families who have a child or family member undergoing treatment due to burn or major trauma injuries. A heartfelt thank you to Gord Ditchburn – President BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Association and Al Gregory – Battalion Chief Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services for taking the time to meet with me. I am humbled to participate and support this organization as I learn more about the brave men and women firefighters who daily put their lives on the line for us. Thank You Heroes and Stylus Sofas combined forces to donate over $13,000 worth of furniture and bedding to the Honour House Society!

Their newest addition, Honour Ranch in Ashcroft was in need of some merchandise to complete their vision and we jumped at the opportunity to help the amazing organization.

Honour House is a refuge, a “home away from home” for members of our Canadian Armed Forces, Veterans, Emergency Services Personnel and their families to stay, completely free of charge, while they are receiving medical care and treatment in the Metro Vancouver area.
These brave individuals, along with their families, sacrifice so much on a daily basis to protect our freedom and our everyday way of life. Honour House allows them the opportunity to show that we care and how much we appreciate all that they do for us.

I have a very happy heart today and feel blessed to be able to be part of such an exceptional organization as Honour House. ❤️❤️❤️.
