Our story
The personal heroes in my life were my inspiration for Thank You Heroes.
My nephew and his girlfriend are both police officers. My daughter Katherine works in nursing, and my daughter Madison is continuing her education in health care. I could not be more proud of their chosen career paths.
Thank You Heroes started as a passion project in 2019 for friends and family. When the pandemic started and the world began to change, I knew the time was right to launch a Canada-wide program.
Today we have over 5,000 heroes in our private Facebook group, and we continue to welcome more wonderful first responders into the program every month.
We believe you deserve a beautiful, warm and welcoming space to come home to.

An incredible honour to meet the board of the National Police Federation
The Benevolent Foundation has a very special place in my heart.
My niece was part of the team at the Ridge Meadows detachment the day Constable Rick O’Brien was killed in the line of duty. That day was filled with many tears in my own family, as we were so thankful she was safe and also crippled by grief.
This foundation assists the families of fallen on-duty, off-duty and serving NPF members. I would like to thank the board for taking the time to hear why we do what we do!

BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund
$5,000donated every year
We reached our goal of a yearly $5,000 donation to the Burn Fund in Vancouver
The Burn Fund is a home away from home for families who have a child or family member undergoing treatment for burns or major trauma injuries. A heartfelt thank you to Gord Ditchburn, President of the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Association, and Al Gregory, Battalion Chief of Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services, for taking the time to meet with me.
I am humbled to support this organization as I learn more about the brave men and women firefighters who put their lives on the line for us every day.

Honour House is a free “home away from home” for members of the Canadian Armed Forces, Veterans, Emergency Services Personnel and their families while they receive medical care in Metro Vancouver. When their newest addition, Honour Ranch in Ashcroft, needed furniture to complete their vision, we jumped at the chance to help.
